Yes or no?

In my opinion, i think that it's moving too fast. Madara subdued all the Bijuu and became it's Jin in what? 2 chapters? I realise that this is a testament to just how powerful of a foe Madara is, but still.

Same thing with Spiral Zetsu, he appreared, did his thing, and now he is seemingly irrelevant again. Wth?

The Rikudou Sennin Flashback also seemed to fly by waaay too freaking fast. It also lasted for like 2 chapters, and the backstory contained very very little detail. It seemed either rushed, or it was made like that intentionally, and Kishi plans on revealing more in the future.

I still enjoy it immensely though, probably always will.

The entire two-day war lasted for 3-4 years. It does feel fast recently however.

No. The story isn't moving too fast, the story is too jumbled. Theres too much shit happening all at the same time that certain elements have to be rushed so that the whole picture can be seen (which is still failing to do so). Whats happening with Madara is paced just fine to me, whats happening with everything else isn't. Bee got the Hachibi ripped from him, what, 20 chapters ago? Yet no one has even so much as mentioned his name in passing. The cage were somehow miraculously saved from what should have been certain death, yet they haven't been seen or heard of since with the exception of Gaara. Orchimaru was brought back into the story for SOME reason, yet he really hasn't done anything but revive the hokage, who in turn haven't done anything productive to the story but complicate it and shove other people out of the limelight.

It's very slow, we've been watching the war for almost 5 years.

I'd say there's a lot of uneven pacing. The war arc as a whole is really stretched out, but there are little pockets of story that feel rushed.

Initially it was slow, but now it is fine.
Thing is Kishi wants to reveal everything in this war arc itself to tie up the story.....had he revealed a few things earlier, it would have been a bit shorter!! U_U

I remember in an interview he said some characters would show up he wasn't planning on bringing back. I wonder if that was Kabuto?

No, I don't think so.......Kabuto's story was incomplete, he had absorbed Orochimaru's powers after his demise, and also met Yamato and Naruto later ....so Kishi had plans for him, later on in the story.......hence his paticipation in this war was inevitable....Kishi might possibly be talking about characters like Dan, Garra's Dad, Chiyo....even the four hokages!!

That's true, but I doubt it was the Hokages, too big a role. Maybe there's more surprises to come?

Yeah, may be you are right. U_U
But the surprises that are about to come may be related to Kaguya and Hagoromo's Brother; Uzumaki and Hyuuga clan etc.
There are still a lot of voids that need to be filled to tie up the story completely, may be that is why Kishi is rushing with the things!!
