Something interesting about Madara/Kakashi last chapter

As Madara went to take Kakashi's eye, he said "Kakashi-sensei".

Do you find that a bit strange? Why is he addressing him as "sensei"?

Now, it may be a translation mistake, but nonetheless, I found it funny. Or is there a legit explanation for him addressing Kakashi as "sensei"?

Don't feel bad, I misread it too at first. That whole chapter was flying by as fast as Madara!
