I am pretty sure the latter is an ethnically, ethically, culturally, and morally sound option, so only Sasuke, Madara, Izuna, Fugaku etc.

Obito, Shisui, Kagami and Itachi were traitors to their clans and thus deserve no praise. Whoever wanted to maintain the peace within their own people are they truly deserving of this attribute. Uchihas like itachi and kagami suck imo. Just because they have ideals like konohas will of fire bs does not make them any better than the other more hardened uchihas. Madara and sasuke imo are much more interesting and I very much prefer their ways.

I agree with this. All the Uchiha are extreme in their methods anyway and Itachi only did that when he had no better options, because the clan was done either way. He's better than the rest.
