As far as equivalents a go... That's my observation at least -- at least until we see FTG attempts... Then I'll stand by my observation :p

Who's with me...

No. FTG is teleportation so you can leave the kamui dimension using it. FTG is also fuuijutsu and S/T jutsu.... you can go anywhere with FTG which is the point of the jutsu. but Kamui is not fuuinjutsu

No. Sealing and S/T jutsu are different. FTG is teleportation so you can leave the kamui dimension using it. you can go anywhere with FTG which is the point of the jutsu. Fuuinjutsu is fuuinjutu. and Space time is space time jutsu. they are not the same.
Off course they're not, but it's the same principal which is what the OP meant.

no even then its not. there are sealing jutsus that can trap you in alt dimensions, but thats not how all sealing jutsus work so they are not the same. kamui cannot seal the nine tails inside of another ninja making them a jinchuuriki can it....no....kamui can only trap the beast in an alt universe. fuuijutsu can do that and more. fuuinjutsu has many more practical uses and so they are different. the principals are very different. the only thing they have in common is the ability of entrapment.
if you are refering to the ability to trap or ensnare someone then yes..but other than that then no.. they are not equal. they are just similar. so even if that is what he ment, that is not what he said. i can only answer according to what is said not what is meant to be said.

I already know they are different dude you don't have to tell me.. But as you said what gthe have in common is entrapment. Which is one of the main things in fuinjutsu. So in a way they are similar.

Lmao....that sig!! XD
OT: Yup it can be used to trap someone forever,so in a way u can say that it can be used for sealing someone!!
Although, Obito needs to be careful next time he uses Kamui.....the trapped enemy may be waiting for him there to take advantage of this. XD

Its essentially being sealed, but its a bad idea to be sealing people in a dimension where your various body parts appear from time to time.

He suddenly re-appears with a missing head: game-over...
