I say this because of all the years and all the plans betraying your village . Taking the over kurama attacking the leaf, Meeting madara and using his eye, help massacre your entire clan, forming the akaski without them knowing who you really are by posing as a fodder (tobi), killing thousands of people throughout your life without hesitation . He was one of the best evil characters out there. But in one night he changed and help the world that he hated. He did it for rin but now he doesn't even want her to except him. I think he should have just died instead of changing cause he was pretty badass. Especially with the madara combo

I dont know about you, but a plan to make a dreamworld where there is peace, NEVER sounded evil to me.
I NEVER thought of tobi as evil.
To me evil is more like madara or oro. Relishing fighting and pain, and desiring power. Enjoying tormenting others. etc.
Tobi never showed any really evil characteristics. He just killed people who got in his way of his plan. He didnt go and kill people for fun or anything.
So as I Never saw tobi as a villian, and as time went on we found out he was a anti hero(bad guy with good intent), I never had trouble with obito becoming good again.
Especially since obito once was a really good guy.
So Very simply, I do not think kishi ruined obito. I think that kishi has used obito very well. (now I DO think that kishi couldve had better diologue between naruto and obito......obito saying rin at least once a chapter was a bit overdoing it)
