Lol I'm just joking but the bad thing is that it isn't impossible considering he had Ashura and Indra's chakra in him and for EMS it was stated you just needed a compatible sharingan not necessarily your brothers. It was just more likely to be successful with your brothers. After EMS boom Rinnegan.

Maybe because obito didn't want to lose kamui in his one eye and since technically his other eye was still active somewhere he couldn't just pop another eye in the empty socket and get EMS. We know he tried at least once because he used Izanagi with someone else's eye. Or Kishi just didn't give him another MS for plot reasons. Or no one in the massacre had acquired MS. Idk there's a bunch of possibilities
