I can imagine that Obito gives Kakashi his other sharingan and repeat to keep being his eye (before Obito dies), but a Rinnegan, no. It would make him a target for madara for sure. It wont be safe to receive and i dont see a reason for kakashi to have rinnegan.

There isn't much time left in the series. Both Naruto and Sasuke are way stronger than Kakashi now...What would be the point of giving Kakashi a powerup at this point? He's already done a lot, and the series is about to end.

Kakashi's body probably wouldnt be particularly suitable for a rinnegan. He doesn't have a large chakra pool, and he's not a descendant of the sage or anything. Nagato was able to use the rinnegan the way he could because he was an Uzumaki. Besides him nothing but uchiha's have wielded the rinnegan.

I think he MIGHT get Obito's other eye just to replace the one he lost but even this is just wishful thinking on my part. I don't see Kakashi playing a major role in any more battles in the manga so what's the point of giving him another Sharingan? Even more so, a Rinnegan?

Why do people think this series is going to end after this fight? We don't know how the conflict between Naruto and Sasuke is going to resolve, I know Sasuke isn't going just be like "Nevermind Naruto, you can be hokage". Kishimoto has clearly set up a Naruto vs Sasuke. Wouldn't make sense if it ended now unless there's another season.

On Topic: I feel Kakashi won't have a huge role in this new fight, but he will have a support role. Him getting the rinnegan seems a tad bit out of place, but it could make sense. Who knows? Maybe Obito will get injured after Madara takes his Rinnegan and before his death he unlocks Rinnegan in his other eye, and gives it to Kakashi.
