No, probably not. He even set up a KA crow for Sasuke back when he alive in order to keep both safe. If that happened, Itachi would just go after the person, kill them, and bring Sasuke back. But then again, no one is kidnapping Sasuke considering his current level.

That's not what I meant by my post. It was meant to show that Itachi would not jeaporadize the entire safety of the village for Sasuke's sake. He wanted to direct his brother on a path that he knew would employ only peace in the end, he held that over letting Sasuke do as he wished back when he was alive.

If we say that, and it is true, Sasuke would have no MS and not be where he is today nor would Itachi have that KA crow, I still doubt that anyone would be able to kidnap him. If we had no massacre and powerful genjutsu users like Itachi and Shisui around, Sasuke could have heavy security around him. Look at the elders, no one is attempting to kidnap them even though they are quite weak.
