Sasuke Amaturasu: Takes a small while to burn through things.

So what the heck? Does itachi and sasuks have different burning rates? It doesn't make sense?

I always found it funny how Kishi says Amaterasu is as hot as the sun but every time sasuke and Itachi has used it it takes FOREVER to fry it's target except for the situated provided in the OP. nagato Ay's arm madaras back even it's his crow. Very confusing.

No it doesn't and there is no proof of that. If anything sasuke's burns hotter because his amaterasu overpowered dsm kabuto's senjutsu sage art: inorganic animation jutsu and made the cave spikes return to normal while itachi's amaterasu only engulfed sasuke's fireball jutsu.

It was because not to many secrets could be revealed at that point in time so kishi had to keep some mystery in the story.

Nice signature Aizen, and if the so called hot as the sun Amaterasu wouldn't you burn before you can do anything like seal it? I mean come on, if the sun was right next to us we would burn in a flash. So I'm just saying that Amaterasu does not = sun. Also it can be easily countered. IMO.
