but tobirama is apparently looseing his chakra

Then when the edo kages get hit by the black chakra balls they they are supposed to regenerate but much slower. but here we see minato who hasn't healed at all. Can you explain? I couldn't really find a panel with just minato in it so here is the best i got..

Edo Tensei is shown to be very inconsistent. Somewhere, people's scar diappear, some are generated old and some young, eyes, etc.
But the points you mentioned are legit.
Obito said that being hit by Onmyoton disappears the body be it Edo tensei or whatever.
Also, Tobirama's chakra wasn't over and he was trapped in Madara's Rinnegan rods. These rods bind chakra making the trapped person unable to form chakra inside. or even move his body. So basically all his chakra too was sucked away by Madara.

Juubi-Obito attacked Hashirama/Tobirama/Hiruzen before he started using Onmyoton.

Then he used Onmyoton on Minato after that, so that's why Minato was the only one affected & can't regenerate limbs.

Tobirama / hashirama got stopped by Madara after he was Rinne Tensei'd. He wasn't Rikudou Madara at that time.

In Edo Tensei, you still have the same chakra gauge , but shadow clones splits your chakra, so it shortens the length of your chakra gauge in each clone. example: you have 4 chakra bars, using shadow-clones will result in the original & clone having only 2 bars each.

The edo hokages were using shadow clones and splitting their chakra up. & Onmyoton cancels ninjutsu affects.

Yeah i agree with you this is a paradox !!!!!!!!!!

I don't really see any inconsistencies.
The way Edos are bought back depend on the user. Tobirama stated that oro brought the Kages back with almost full power so obviously the user of the jutsu has some control over how the edos will turn out.
People usually misunderstand what unlimited chakra means. They have the amount of chakra they have before they die but this set amount of chakra is unlimited. So they can only do Justu within their range of chakra.
Tobirama's chakra was low b/c Sasuke had just removed the chakra absorbing rods from his pressure points and it might've taken time for his chakra to return.
As for Madara being revived to his younger rather than being revived exactly as he died( as far as I know he is the only Edo to have shown this happen) could be Kabuto's doing. He stated he experimented with his body so this seems to be the only plausible explanation imo.

Methinks the best explanation to this is:

He experimented on Madz *ORIGINAL* body; like healed it back to health; then before Madz could regain consciousness--Merked him.

Or didn't even allow him his head when regenerating his old man corpse where he found it.

Those Senju cells are mighty useful...

But yeah, that's my reasoning behind it all. *Only* way too make it believable at all for me.
