What if Hinata was in team Kakashi?

Hinata would've gotten no chance of a power up. She comes from the Hyuga clan, so her strength wouldn't be any better than it already is if she were the main character because she'd still be doing regular training. Sakura didn't have anyone to train her, so she went to Tsunade herself.

Hinata also wouldn't have became a medic. She also most likely wouldn't have gotten out of the fight with Sasori alive if she were in Sakura's role.

Far more interesting. For one thing, we'd actually see Hinata's progress. She'd fit much better than Sakura. The trio of this artificial team 7 would be 1. A talentless, unprivileged shinobi climbing up to the top(Naruto) 2. A privilaged shinobi training to become strong enough to kill his brother who slaughtered his clan(Sasuke). 3. A privileged person not born with talent trying to reclaim what she lost(Hinata).


Given that Sakura's the only member of team 7 who did not have a powerful motivation right from the start. Hinata did have a cause for motivation, so she had the best set-up for a main character. Come to think of it, the Hyuga obviously have a connection to Kaguya, so if Hinata were a main, we'd probably get into more depth with the Hyuga, and Hinata would probably become very powerful.


I honestly think that, since the attention would be brought to Hinata, that she'd be stronger. I also think that if Sakura was on Team Kurenai, she would have used her genjutsu potential to become a powerful genjutsu user.


I have to wounder why Kishimoto didn't make Hinata a main character. She had a much better potential.

And I don't mind you liking Sakura. Actually that's great. I like her too. I admit I didn't like her before but some people on NarutoBase helped change my opinion. She's a good character. Also I didn't mention anything from fanfic..... this entire thread is asking about fanfic basically. Hinata was on Team 7 = Fanfic.

And Hinata is not weak. Maybe a little weaker than Sakura right now but she is not weak. But Part 1 Hinata > Part 1 Sakura. And in combat I think Hinata has the upper hand.

If Hinata was indeed the main character, there would have been more insight in the Hyuga Clan and a possible Kaygyua power up for her.

I see most of the people talking about naruhina in this thread it shows how bad her character is.

Not possible Hinata's grades werent that great compared to Sakura's so it wouldnt have happened. Also Naruto would be pissed he was in the team with the weird girl. Maybe Hinata and Sasuke would have became a thing since they were both quiet.

But yeah Sakura is 10 times better.
