Why didn't kami show the z-fighters the hyperbolic time chamber during the saiyan saga

Genetically they might have had stronger characteristics from Chichi or Bulma maybe. Or obviously they removed them after birth. They aren't stupid to risk getting another oozaru.

And for the kami question, Goku stated that one can only go into the chamber a max of two times in their lifetime. Maybe Kami didn't want to risk their opportunity on just the saiyans.

Goku tells Gohan that the Super Saiyan transformation comes in response to a need, not a desire. It doesn't have to be just anger or life-death scenario. The main reason Vegeta obtained supersaiyan wasn't anger but rather frustration of Goku becoming SS first. Another possible reason why is that saiyan blood is passed down genetically (we know that). Goten and Trunks were born after Goku and Vegeta had already gone super saiyan (perhaps they activated a SS gene of sort). This could then be passed down to Goten and Trunks so they could easily transform into a supersaiyan.

that's because it was finished in it's own time, with minimal scrutiny or quality control. the storyline is basic, the animation is truly awful (in a good way) and i'm sure that the author was under less pressure.

also, it seems to fit because it isnt a current anime that comes out week on week. you can watch it start to finish in your own time and not have time to notice any (possible) plotholes it may have. most of the plotholes in modern animes emerge because of tension and supposition between episodes, and are often resolved by the end.

This ^^^^^^^ Completely, People don't understand the term and use plothole as often as ignorant teens shout YOLO. People say the Pacing of the story is bad, but 5 mins in their time comes out weekly for us, If you read Volumes the pacing is great and solid, The second Obito was revealed everyone screamed Plothole like it was their job or something. All you gotta do is wait and see -.- Or even better yet Figure it out yourselves -.- People complain when they get explanations and when they dont -.- Noone will ever be satisfied.

This, it was good for when he were kids but now I only watch the movies because of the animation, if I watch the episodes it just makes me think "how the hell did I watch this?"

But anyways No DBZ is not the perfect story. Its the simplest story Its just easy to enjoy its basically a popcorn anime. Its just cool. You don't care about the characters or really get to know them. If you asked a random fan on what they know about Yamcha they'd say "useless" In DBZ its just one bad guy who's significantly stronger than the previous one after the Main character for "insert legitimate reason why they have to fight here" So its just basic and fun and thats whats great about it.

But if you want a plothole, the entire Namek escape, Goku was in the middle of ****ing nowhere and the planet exploded while he screamed in the sky. There is no possible way he could have stumbled upon a ship, randomly run and find the main control room, and push the right buttons to fly anywhere, cuz its ****ing Goku -.-

Trunks should have been born with a tail

Goku after he was brought back should not be able to go Super Saiyan 3, It was stated he could only achieve it when he didn't have hs body, because the amount of power is so intense that it even drained the rest of his time to stay on earth while he was dead when he was only in it for a few minutes.
