And Kisame (Post timeskip ) can merge with Samaheda.

Jiraiya is a negative factor here. If Ma and Pa try ANY genjutsu on Itachi, they'll suddenly find out that they're the ones in the Genjutsu. Both of their Sage Modes are imperfect, and both of them have no counter to Tsukuyomi. Jiraiya even said he was absolutely atrocious at Genjutsu, and if Jiraiya taught Minato...well, I'll let that explain itself. Kisame isn't even needed. Itachi solos.

Itachi said Jiraiya was stronger because he needed to leave to protect Konoha and Naruto from being captured. This has been adressed MULTIPLE times. Itachi was a spy in the Akatsuki. Obito even stated that Itachi made him stay away from Konoha. Itachi could of killed Kurenai, Kakashi, Asuma, and Guy if he wanted to. But he didn't. He even stopped Kisame from fighting Kakashi, because apparently "he didn't want him to get damaged." He's always been on Konoha's side. Ok, let's see it like this then. A normal lightning infused pencil/blade could kill Kisame, something weaker than Chidori, which is weaker than the normal Rasengan, also weaker than Minato's normal rasengan. Something of this caliber would fuck Kisame up at the very least if not him dying

Also i think he absorption capability on that panel had something to do with the fact he was under water. His final attack(he used against Gai) can absorb chakra, so it won't surprise me that he can use water as a medium to absorb chakra.

When he faced Asuma for example, his chakra enhanced blade made him bleed. It's what makes me think it's not passive at all, so a direct hit from rasengan should kill him

LOL you keep posting the very same thing on multiple Itachi threads, like it carries any weight or makes any sense. Minato can only blitz him if he already has a tag on Itachi. Ay blitzes Sasuke, yes, but Itachi is MUCH faster than Sasuke. Itachi kept up with KCM Naruto AND Bee while he was using his knives. Itachi kept up with two people that Sasuke never stood a chance against speed wise, so comparing Ay to Itachi is dumb. He's not getting blitzed. Kisame can, but he took a lariat to the chest and laughed as Samehada healed him. A rasengan blitz (which is the only blitz he can really do once he uses FTG) isn't doing jack to him.

That is fine and all, but the chakra knife, as Asuma explains, absorbs the chakra anture of the wielder and uses the nature to enhance the weapon [

]. That was Fuuton, not raw chakra like what Kisame had absorbed. So, that really doesn't do it. Not to mention Kisame is capable of sucking the chakra out of the Rasengan, like he had done to Adoba(?) [

] So, once the Rasengan touches his body, he can pull the chakra from the orb straight into his body. So, let's say a bit of it hits him, tit would be absorbed and then Kisame is free to pull the rest in, distorting the shape of the jutsu in a similar manner to what Samehada does when it draws in Ninjutsu. Not to mention that chakra has been shown several times in the manga to be capable of restoring shinobi when receiving it. . So any damage done would be fixed, even though there wouldn't really be any damage.

As for your theory, the Great Shark Bullet is a jutsu totally different from Kisame's passive absorption. There's no link or evidence between the two, other then Kisame was in water. One is a jutsu he uses that absorbs chakra, he doesn't absorb it. Not to mention the part that was absorbing the chakra was above the water, the string/wire was not touching the water, and the victim was not on the water or under it.
