[Frankenstein]

Directed to the readers of the manga called Claymore, fans of the mangaka that kills off characters in one panel without giving a damn and draws breasts like no one else.

How the hell do you think this thing with Teresa and Clare works? Seriously, any ideas are welcome.

I think either Clare's awakened form is Teresa's form, or Teresa can be brought up to surface when really really needed because they have fused or whatnot.

Also, if you also think that Clare's awakened form is Teresa's form, then what happens if this form also awakens?

I think it's kinda like those other claymores who worked in pairs. One of them would awaken while the other keeps focusing on preventing their partner from fully turning into an awakened being (balancing the yoma or whatever). In Claire and Teresa's case they are fused. I'd like to think about this as a some type of Jinchuuriki thingy if you know what I mean xD As in, Claire allowed Teresa to take over.

There was a mention of having Claire's "other self" awakening, but not Claire herself.

I'm kinda confused myself lol.

That's a very interesting idea. I like the comparison with those twins and I it didn't occur to me at all. I was more focused on the resemblance of the Teresa & Clare duo to the Rafaela & Luciela duo because of the whole statue thing and all.

It does look like she allowed her to take over but also her form changed, now looking like Teresa. Seems like the mangaka copied the idea from another manga, it reminds me of Samurai Deeper Kyo, where Kyo is sealed inside another guy and when things go sour he emerges and all hell breaks loose.
