His name wasn't misspelled, its a tribute to Sabo. the crossed S was his jolly roger.

OT: My favs are Zoro, Shanks and Ace (Luffy is a given xD)

Haha, that's the sweetest question i've heard in a long time. You're wonderfull.

You can tell who is your favourite OP character the same way you can tell who is your favourite in any franchise.
Or what your favourite movie is, or your favourite kind of food. It's just.. who do you like, and who would you most want to spend more time with.
You just... know.. it's just, who do you enjoy a little bit more than the others, if any.

My personal favourite is Usopp.. lots of reason, he is a gadget builder and story teller, two character types I highly enjoy. Like his energy, like most of the jokes around him, like that he is a bit of a trickster.
But the biggest main reason is.. I relate to that guy, so much! In my head, he represents both the worst and the best in ordinary humans. He is so inspirational overcoming his own weakness's and fears, stands up for himself in spite of what-ever fears he is having, and defies his urges to run away, so he can stand up for himself and become the kind of person he wishes to be.
That to me, is so inspirational, and I always get so happy and giddy when Usopp turns around and do some-thing brave, just because.. I am rooting that much for him.
I want him to suceed and become brave, i'm ready with my little Usopp flag rooting for him when he is fighting.. so that makes it pretty obvious doesn't it?

I am 10,000% sure you are made of like cupcakes or something. Cause everytime I see you comment its the nicest thing ever. You're gonna be a terrible mother. No matter what you'll be supportive even if its terrible...

Haha, I just don't see how putting up an offensive would help any-body.

I mean, we are here, enjoying a fandomn, for the sake of having a good time right? So we should try to have a good time just talking about things we enjoy.

In my mind, calling each other names and calling things other people like stupid without any reason (There's a big difference between genuine critisism and just pandering.) wont get any-body any-where, except.. justiefies those whom all-ready feel threatened, which will just turn them even more aggressive and then all hell just breaks loose.

Fandomn exsists so people can share their joy of some-thing, I hate it when it turns into an ugly contest of "Who's better." .. and I refuse to take part in any such contest or stoop to a name calling level, when every-body should just have fun.

Also, some-one asking. "How do you decide who's your favourite." That's just darn cute!

It really is like, how you decide what your favourite food is... you don't do any-thing, you just know it.
