So far not one of Gamamaru's foresight have been inaccurate or incorrect. At most they have been vague

• The meeting with Bee prediction came true
• Jiraiya's Prophecy came true
• Foresaw that there was a key to changing the world "Jiraiyas book giving Naruto a re-enforced resolve)
• Predicted that Naruto would befriend all Biiju and use their power for the great or good

Gamamaru has predicted that he was going to "young man with powerful eyes" . He definately wasnt referring to Madara because he is far from a "young man". however compared to to Gamamaru Madara is but a child.

This leads me to my little theory

It's possible that Gamamaru was referring to Madara and not sasuke. MAYBE there is a reason why Kishimoto allowed Naruto to cut him off mid sentence:

He could of been referring to either Madara or Obito. Most probably Madara since he is closer to "powerful eyes"

But the timeline dictates otherwise as he was an old man when he died. The fact that he was revived in his prime means nothing, his age according to time itself is more than 100 years of age.

I believe the man with powerful eyes can be multiple people, Madara, Sasuke, or even Hagoromo's brother whom we have not seen much of. Leaning more towards Madara though since Sasuke has kind of had a change of heart.

Sasuke vs Naruto is a certainty, make no mistake. It has been hinted at so many times. Polar opposites, Yin and Yang, Genius vs Dead Last, all the build ups. You have to be a fool to think it won't happen. And now that they are more or less evenly matched, it should be the climax of Naruto. Only the motivation for the fight remains to be seen (I think it'll be over the decision of what to do with the Bijuu).
The YOUNG man cannot be Madara or Obito. Seriously? How can you even think it's Madara? And Obito isn't exactly young either.
