I can see where u r coming from, but i can't agree. Hagoromo made the Uchiha tablet because he knew that Indra's descendants would eventually try to attain the power of the six path and he made it to try and curb that desire in Indra, but it failed.
Personally I think Kaguya herself is the full moon, Indra is the crescent moon, and Ashura is the Sun.

You said that full moon is not sun , then you said sun=Yang , full moon=Yin , and now full moon=Yang?
I guess full moon/sun is not very clear concept for now.
I made the "opposite twin hypothesis" in my theory "Kaguya divided into Yin and Yang , looking for stability" (my sig).
I like the theory of the opposite twins , Yin and Yang.

Very impressive its like I thought Hagaromo is the evil twin 
All jokes aside I really to believe that Hagaromo is part of if not the source of much of the conflict in the Naruto verse. And not for one moment do I believe that he is telling the full truth.

I think he absorbed his Brother in order to gain the full power of the Juubi and his brother. He himself was one of those who wanted to be the strongest, but now he knows he acted false and is trying to change the fate of the story.

Dojutsu in general represent Yin chakra. Ergo his brother shouldn't possess one at all.
Btw Sir Derp do you now believe that the Uzumaki are related at all to the sage, it seems more likely that they are related to the other brother now.

He should have the physical power. And in order to get both and become stronger than his mother to change the system of the world, Hagoromo absorbed his brother, but then lost himself in the desire to get more and more power.

So basically, after Kaguya got her two childs, the Power got separated in Sun(Byakugan) and Moon(Rinnegan). After that the Power of the Moon got separated into Yin(Physical Energy) and Yang(Eye Power). The Power of the Sun didn't get separated.
I dont understand the dharmapala part.
Also, how can he get Yang from someone who is Yin?
