Chapter 1: The 6th Hokage's Decision
*Sitting by himself, in the Hokage's Office, is none other than the 6th Hokage himself, Uchiha Sasuke. It has been 20 years since he had heard the devastating news that his bestfriend, had sacrificed himself and sealed the 1, 8 and 9 tails and split the chakra of each of the remaining tailed beasts equally into each of his respective children. As he continues to think about it, there is a knock on the door*
Uchiha Sasuke:"Who is it?"
Nara Shikamaru:"Shikamaru, Hokage-sama."
Uchiha Sasuke:"Come in Shikamaru."
*The door opens and in walks Shikamaru with a serious look on his face, he stands in front of Sasuke's desk and begins to talk.*
Nara Shikamaru:"Sasuke, the time has come to choose the 7th Hokage."
Uchiha Sasuke:"Yes, of course. The time has come a lot quicker than expected, do you anyone in mind, who would be worthy of the title?"
Nara Shikamaru:"Sasuke, I don't mean to disrespect you but this is your choice and your choice only."
Uchiha Sasuke:"Your right Shikamaru, it is my choice, i shall have an answer by the end of the day."
Nara Shikamaru:"Thank you, Hokage-sama. I'll be awaiting your decision."
Uchiha Sasuke:"As am I, Shikamaru, as am I."
*Shikamaru leaves Sasuke's Hokage office, leaving Sasuke behind to think about who he would like to be the 7th Hokage. The scene cuts to Kushina, Jiraiya and Neji awakening from their long sleep.*
Uzumaki Jiraiya:"Good Morning!"
Uzumaki Kushina:"Good Morning, Jiraiya and Neji!"
Uzumaki Neji: *in a sarcastic tone* "Yeah, it is such a great morning"
*They walk down the stairs, to find their mother on the lounge chair clutching their dad's headband. Wiping away her tears, Hinata looks up and smiles at her children.*
Uzumaki Hinata:"Good Morning, Jiraiya, Kushina and Neji, how was your sleep?"
All 3 Children:"It was good mum!"
Uzumaki Hinata:"That's good to hear, do you know what day it is today?"
Uzumaki Neji:"It is the 20th anniversary of Dad's death"
Uzumaki Hinata:"Yes, you're right, by the way the 6th Hokage has called a village meeting. He says he has a huge announcement to make."
Uzumaki Hinata:"An announcement? Don't tell me, it is time for Sasuke to choose his successor!?"
Uzumaki Hinata:"That is exactly what is going to happen."
Uzumaki Neji and Jiraiya:"Hmph, why does he have to choose today, of all days, why today?"
Uzumaki Hinata:"It is only because Sasuke is getting old, his powers aren't as strong as they once were."
*The kids hug and kiss their mum and go outside, before they leave Hinata tells them that the announcement will be held at 12:00pm. Meaning they only had 1 hour to think about who would be a suitable candidate for the role of Hokage. The scene cuts to Sasuke, talking to a mysterious person.*
Uchiha Sasuke:"Will you take the position of Hokage?"
Mysterious Person:" Yes, Lord 6th. It will be an honour sitting in yours and Naruto-sama's office."
Uchiha Sasuke:"Great, well than, shall we get the meeting started?"
*12:00pm comes around quicker than usual, soon enough outside of the Hokage's mansion is each and every member of the village. Sasuke comes out in his Hokage attire, with the mysterious person behind him."
Uchiha Sasuke:"You are all probably wondering, why I have gathered you all today"
Random People:"Yeah, why!?"
Uchiha Sasuke:"The time has come to announce the 7th Hokage."
*The village members, stand and wait in anticipation for the announcement of the 7th Hokage*
Uchiha Sasuke:"The 7th Hokage is none other than"
*The mysterious person pulls of his cloak to reveal the person underneath. The village looks on with surprised looks on their faces.*
Sarutobi Konohamaru:"That's right the 7th Hokage is me, my name is Sarutobi Konohamaru and from now on I will protect this village, just like my grandpa, Naruto and Sasuke did!"
*The crowd explodes in an uproar of clapping, Konohamaru has a smile on his face and Sasuke shakes hands with him and hands over the Hokage attire.*
Uchiha Sasuke:"Who is it?"
Nara Shikamaru:"Shikamaru, Hokage-sama."
Uchiha Sasuke:"Come in Shikamaru."
