Kakashi states to Minato that he has completely lost vision in his left eye (due to him spamming kamui throughout this entire war).

So why is it that obito used it constantly throughout the entire shippuden series and yet his vision was perfectly okay?
I'm confused.

At first I thought that he maybe had the rinnengan in his left socket the whole time he was wearing the mask..,but during his fight with naruto, Kakashi, and gai he states to guy "You underestimate the power of the sharingan, I can see your movements before they occur..blah blah" indicating that he still has his vision.

So what do you guys think?
Is it because kakashi a non-uchia?
Or did kishi just make yet another illogical mistake?

Senju DNA. Obito has hashi cells and kakashi doesn't. That's the big difference

The most common explanation is Obito has access to Senju DNA (from Zetsu body), so Hashi's regenerative properties keep him from going blind, or at least slow down the rate of vision loss in comparison to without it.

Oh true, I hadn't thought of that. Makes enough sense to me, thanks!

The senju dna makes more sense but he also could have just been constantly changing eyes

I know a lot of people say that Obito has Senju DNA which helps slow down and/or prevent him from going blind. But I think Kishi should've tackled on this issue because this does bring a lot of questions to why Kakashi is losing vision in his eye & why Obitio isn't.

Senju DNA can make you use KA once a day instead of once every ten years, no surprise Obito can use kamui that much and have good vision
