Ying Yang Elements of the Sharingan

So I was thinking about Madara's reference to Sasuke having a "straight comma" sharingan like he does and did some googling. Someone posted a graphic of the geometry of all the important Uchihas' eyes and this got me thinking:

The key to obtaining the eternal mangekyo sharigan is to combine the ying and yang elements of the sharingan into one person. Here's what I mean:

So, what do we see here? Izuna had straight lines and Madara had a swirl. Sasuke had the straight line and Itachi had the swirl.

Combining the straight and swirl (or ying and yang or opposites) yields the EMS.

I don't think the type of Sharingan matters since that has never been brought up in manga. But at least now I understand what Madara keeps talking about.."straight comma"

Obviously we can't say yes or no definitively, but I don't think it's an accident that the only two ppl who acquired EMS got it from siblings with an opposite geometric design. Also, when you factor in the ying/yang theme of the story, this makes complete sense IMO.

Actually, the Choku Tomoe doesn't have to do with the eMS, because Madara implies that there is a special connection between Sasuke and him=>Indras chakra. Indras chakra is probably the source of these special Tomoe-according to chapter 674. So Indras attendance inside Sasuke has influenced his own Mangekyō. Madaras and Sasukes Mangekyō are special anyway.

Furthermore, I disagree about Izuna's eyes being straight and not Madara's, actually Madara is the one who has the straight tomoe, he said it himself that he awakened it, and it Sasuke awakening it too makes the both of them connected in a way which is them both being Indra's reincarnation, so both of them have straight comma

I have NO idea what you're talking about. Look at the eyes again. It's plain as day that Madara's MS was a friggin circle. He got the straight eyes from Izuna. It's possible that Madara says "MY straight comma" is bc the straight comma eyes ARE his. He awoke them AFTER Izuna gave him his eyes and Madara AWOKE the EMS with the newly acquired straight comma.

Doesn't matter. The Choku Tomoe are a special variation of Tomoe. After chapter 674 it's clear that Madaras statement doesn't refer only to straight lines.

Thats pretty good. There's something I would like to add to that. It didnt make sense to me before but theory works with mine. Tsukuyomi was the kekkei genkai of Itachi's MS and Ameterasu is Sasuke's kekkei genkai. Tsukuyomi is the moon god and the moon is also associated with Yin. Ameterasu is the sun god associated with Yang. So Sasuke's eyes are a combination of Yin and Yang / Sun and Moon / Tsukuyomi and Ameterasu. It confused me at first because dojutsu are traditionally a yin ability. But after viewing your thread it makes perfect sense.
