Part 1 Sasuke or apart 2 Sasuke; which do you prefer?

A response thread to the Naruto one because there were some interesting answers.

Personally I prefer first part, though I never cared for him much ever. Sasuke's character took a massive dive when Shippuden began from his first appeance for me and he dropped off completely soon after. Lost his charm and became completely swallowed by others and really made me disinterested. Which do you like more?

Ehh this is tough. I only really liked part 1 Sasuke chuunin exams and onward, but I HATED part 2 Sasuke for his "I wanna destroy Konoha" phase......part 1.

Never really been a Sasuke fan, but if I had to choose I would say begining of Part II/Hebi Sasuke was when I didn't dislike him as much.

I actually like how consistent Kishi is with his character, as he explained Sasuke was "pure" and he is sort of easily influenced while being on nobody's side. But I like him better when he isn't acting plain psychopathic (Part I, Hebi and as of late).

Part two
He became A LOT more mature and he has a good story. I agreed with his reasoning and his flow of logic even though I hated him. Plus he had interesting fights.

Part 1 Sasuke hands down,his flows and conflicts felt legitimate,part 2 Sasuke is just way too bland and shallow for me to like.
