No hate and there are far worse characters but it was pretty useless of Sakura not to kill Sasuke after the Summit and not stabbing the Rinnegan, Those are some pretty big fck ups.

Most of the irrelevant characters have basically done their part to help develop the important characters so they have no need to be seen anymore.

I like choji but he has nothing ... he cries all the time during battles and he never really gained noticeable strength ... even in butterfly mode other than fodders who can he defeat, he doesn't even have a contribution to this war like his teammates

Ino saved Choji like what, twice during the fight with Asuma? Didn't she also save the alliance from a Juubi bomb or something? Sakura is defs not useless, Sasori wasn't useless, Hanzo was the reason Yahiko died iirc, Kurenai... She took care of her team. Aoba is the dude who reads minds and saved Shikamaru and his squad from Kakuzu and Hidan right? Danzo is definitely not useless. He did some pretty messed up shiz.

Shino and Tenten probably.

You would presume that since they are also part of Konoha's 12 and new generation, you would see the same or at least a bit more development when you have so much drama around Lee, so much drama around Neji, Hinata, Shika, Choji... Even Kiba had his extremely shining moments when he fought vs that Orochimaru freak that had 2 bodies in one.

Shino and Tenten on the other hand are just... There. At least Shino has some sort of unique personality tweak and interesting bug technique. Ten ten is just a total cardboard.
