-Shino can use bug clone feints to trick Deidara into bombing his clones, thus making Deidara waste clay and chakra
-His bugs can fly up to Deidara's height and eat up his chakra, so Deidara has no aerial advantage (plus shino can 'fly' on top of his bugs like Gaara can 'fly' on sand)
-Shino can jam his bugs into Deidara's mouths to block them up, just like he did to Zaku:

-Shino can use widespread bugs to block Deidara's view, just like that one Aburama clan member did. This is especially helpful if the location is a forest.
-C4 is ineffective since Shino can use his bugs as a shield to protect him. Without intel though, Shino probably loses to C4.

- Shino used one clone (one o>o) during his battle against Kankuro, and that's it. Everytime Deidara lands a hit it won't be a clone, it doesn't work like that or clone users would be impossible to fight. You forget that Shino will also lose bugs to the explosions.
Do you really think Shino has more stamina/chakra than Deidara? :|

- That would work if Deidara stayed still awaiting for the bugs. Deidara in noted to be quite fast in the air, unlike Shino's bugs who resort to overwhelming numbers to catch their opponents.

- Are you comparing a mouth (that doesn't even breathe) to hollow tubes where air comes off w/ high pressure? The bugs would probably be 'eaten', infused w/ explosive chakra and killed afterwards.

- Muta Aburama didn't obstruct nobody's view... He used a bug jamming jutsu to disable sensors. Deidara isn't a sensor.

- Anything that breathes will be destroyed. Bugs included.

OT: Bad match-up due to the difference in power levels.
Deidara is a god damn S-level criminal, Shino is just a kid from the Aburame clan.
Deidara obviously takes this w/o stepping out of his comfort zone o>o

I doubt his bugs can stop the C1's if they're birds instead of insects or snakes. The best thing Shino has going for him is he can spread his bugs about and prevent C4 from killing him while siphoning chakra, and only in his general vicinity. The C1 birds seem faster than his bugs, and even if they latch on I doubt they will take enough chakra to prevent a hit and detonation.

But yeah, it's not a complete stomp. Deidara low diff.
