How didn't Kurama recognize Ashura's chakra in Naruto from the start, considering that he was inside in Ashura once according to the scan where Sage talks about starting the long war between Ashura and Indra in which Ashura has bijju mode and indra has susanoo? I can remember Kurama once asked himself "just who are you Naruto?"

Probably they cant sense it, there instinct just tells them this is the sh*t.. and I think he saw asura's chakra right after Naruto transform to kyubii chakra mode.

i don't think so, because the "who are you?" is uttered by Kurama sometime before he makes friend with Naruto and BM stuff though I agree with you t some extent and I think what he meant by "is this the sage paths...?" was sth related to Ashura chakra

i never expect such a thing. and actually what makes me question the situation is that Kurama asks such a question from himself. When someone "asks" a thing, it means that they do not know about it. Asking comes from not knowing. So we can't say that Kurama knew it is ashura's chakra but he doesn't tell us that because if he had known it is ashura's chakra, he would not have asjed such a question from himself

We all know that Kurama can sense hatred*, however, Ashura believed in love and cooperation, complete opposite of hatred, so Kurama wouldn't be able to sense Ashura in Naruto anyway, he wasn't hateful, and neither is Naruto.

That's why he couldn't sense him.

Yes that's true, but Kurama ability is not to sense chakra, just hatred, so even with* an exclamatory explanation, Kurama still wouldn't able to know.
