By leaving the Hidden leaf and attacking his own subordinates, proceeding to the enemy side he betrayed the hidden leave and became a missing nin.

2: Treason

This is hugely prohibited, he attack the kages in the kages summit and this leads to reason 2.

3: Rogue Ninja

When He committed treason he became a Rogue ninja.

4: He killed Danzo who was consider apart of the Konoha council, founder of Anbu and candidate of sixth Hokage.

So adding all this information up and coming to a conclusion it is impossible to become Hokage with brute force as power only leads to the nations hating you rather then admiring you. He's heading into Madara's destination and Might end up being the last person Naruto may have to fight. Sasuke is low key insecure and just see Bijuus as tools just like Madara does. Uchiha hatred will never end unless Senju are there to break it. This is the only reason why the two clans were meant to clash. Senju + Uchiha = ending of hatred furthermore peace.

Uchihas: hatred comes from Senjus always becoming the successors.

Senjus: Exist to erase the hatred within Uchihas.

EDIT: I also forgot that he attack the forth Raikage side man aka Killer B. He try to weaken Killer B and bring him back so the akatsuki so they can extract the 8th tails aka Gyuuki. Al though he failed, this cause him to be no question ask as a most wanted ninja on the bounty list.

Sadly for Sasuke, he won't become Hokage unless he does some serious damage control with the village. Plus I think he's already a murderer (he killed some samurai, right?)

Anyway, even if he were in a favorable light, it'll end with Naruto getting the title. Sasuke might have a monument built for him somewhere too, who knows.

If Sasuke was truly going to take the Hokage title seriously he would have to take responsibility for his past actions. In doing so he will exclude himself from being eligible from the title because as you said a murder, traitor and wanted international criminal is not the kind of person people look up to.

Theres a major difference though. Gaara spent probably 3 or so years working with the villages and earning their respect by proving his worth. Sasuke said he doesn't care about the villagers and what they think, he just reckons he can come in and claim the title.

That's true but he wasn't @ his own at the time, so Shukaku took the blame for the damages. Orochimaru composed the coup d tat against Hidden leaf by tricking the sand village. So technically it was Sand Village vs. Leaf village. While it's Sasuke doing not anyone elses.
