New Theory on Who is Inside Spiral Zetsu

We know that Hashirama is growing on the wall where the Gedou Mazou was from cells obtained during the battle between Hashirama and Madara and that it has no mind of its own.

We also know that Obito used the Gedou Mazou to make the White Zetsu army.

There is also a gap in time between when the White Zetsu army leaves and the Gedou Mazou is used again. It could be that Obito had used the statue in the mean time to grow a mindless, weakened Hashirama to use against the alliance. But a mindless Hashirama would be useless. Enter Spiral Zetsu. Spiral Zetsu would be able to wrap his body around the mindless, weakened Hashirama and then be able to control him that way.

If it were Yamato that was inside Spiral Zetsu, he'd likely be under a genjutsu that was controlling him that way. But if that were the case, why would Spiral Zetsu be needed? It would make much more tactical sense for Yamato to come as an ally of the alliance and then attack them when they don't suspect it. There would be no need for Spiral Zetsu except maybe to be used as armor.

Also as a side note, I say the mindless Hashirama is weakened because a non-sage mode Hashirama would probably be able to make a much larger wood Buddha just judging by how large the sage mode wood Buddha is

It makes sense I guess . yamato hasn't shown anything that significant with his mokuton compared to hashi , he was presumed to be there to fit gaps . mindless hashi clone would be another plausibility

What if it's Kaguya or the Shinju's conscious? I question this because it looked as if it was spiral zetsu speaking to Madara and possessing the nine tomoe rinnegan in one panel.

Plausible theory. I actually like it more than the Yamato being Spiral Zetsu theory. Would be a good plot twist. I also don't see any reason for Yamato to be encased by Spiral Zetsu if that person is Yamato.
