Oh god , I'm seriously facepalming seeing these posts .
rin or the fact that he was too vulnerable to TnJ

Maybe you should look at actual villains from other series and then figure out why. In my line of sight, those people who say Obito is a bad villain are correct. It's not about the bad deeds that he did, not to mention that Madara did that shit in a few chapters as opposed to Obito who took him a few years, but it's about why they did their bad actions. His actions all revolved around a little girl who preferred Kakashi, and he got upset that he died by his best friends hand with a chidori to the chest.
Let's look at Sasuke. What happened to him? His whole clan was destroyed in one night by his beloved brother. You don't see him turning into this psychotic prick who wants to take over the world by putting it into an infinite Tsukuyomi. He just wanted revenge on his brother so after he left the village he sought power from Orochimaru. After he figured out the secrey of his brother, it was only then that he decided to destroy the village. This is not worse than Obito because:
A) Sasuke's happiness ended much worse than Obito's
B) Sasuke actually had a valid proof for his actions as opposed to Obito who only did it for a little girl
Try and look at Kakashi. His life is not one to go home and brag about, but you don't see him going around plotting revenge on something that can never be washed away. Kakashi is probably the only one that kept a cool head.
Obito is a shit villain for these reasons:
> There was no justification for taking over the world for a single girl
> He didn't have to bring everyone down and could have just tried to kill Kakashi instead
> At the end he decided to get Tnj'd by Naruto in a unoriginal cheap way
> Ever mention of Rin, then he decides to turn soft and have doubts
> He was just a tool for Madara
> He used Nagato / Pain and yet Nagato was a much better villain than he ever was
Need I go on?
This guy is no villain. If he was a true villain then he would have taken Naruto's Kyubi the moment he met him back in the Land of Iron. Obito stalls and doesn't get to the point. He tries to have this wannabe badass attitude but in reality he is just a soft stuffed animal that that misses his soon to be dead crush.

I like how you are too asshurt to give me any actual feedback instead of the usual garbage that I'm used to.I like how your whole argument revolves around "He did it just for one girl" and it can be almost completely nullified by the fact that it was not true. I like that you do give reasons for your hate, though, and everyone's entitled to an opinion.
. Anyway, as for the Rin thing, I take it more as "the reason Madara convinced him." I'm pretty sure he genuinely wanted to make a perfect world not only for Rin, but for everyone. The thing that made him villainous was a) his objective being controversial and b) his means being downright evil.
As for getting all soft when Rin is mentioned, it is kind of understandable, she was the only person who genuinely treated him well and died a tragic death that made him realize the world is all ****ed up, after all.
