[Theory] Madara lost to Hashirama on purpose.

Hi people! Anyway I'm not wanking Madara or anything but re-reading chapter 626 I noticed something. Madara, after being stabbed by Hashirama (Which I still think was part of a genjutsu or something) tells him that:

"...You're mistaking the cause for the end..."

Hashirama was mistaking Madara's "cause" (Obtaining Hashirama's DNA) for the "end" (Madara's death).

Taking this into account it would be reasonable to assume that Madara "Lost" on purpose.

That's true, Though I still think that the reason for him battling Hashirama for his DNA.

Even though then, Hashirama was > Madara

This is true, I won't deny that EMS Madz is weaker than Hashirama but Rinne Tensei Madz is stronger than Hashirama ever was

Madara is too arrogant to not have admit he lost to him on purpose, Madara wanked hashirama and is still wanking his power. There's no way he lost on purpose.

He didn't lose on purpose, he got beat, the whole fight u can see that he really wanted to kill hashi but he couldn't and had to settle for his dna after gettin beat. Its high time people stop making excuses for madara.

For the few people saying I'm making excuses and trying to make him look better I'm not... It is just a something I thought of while re-reading the chapter. It might've seemed that way the way I put it, "Lost on purpose" but I didn't mean it like that. Though if you count the fact that the sword that Hashirama run Madara through with disappeared, a possible sign of genjutsu thus he would have "Lost to gain the DNA" than I think he would have "Lost on purpose" there is no other figurative way to put it. I do agree, from what we actually know and have seen so far VOTE Hashirama > EMS VOTE Madara, even if only slightly, given Hashirama's post battle state.
