Hey, YOU! What do you think about this?

Am I the only one who loves when the strongest protagonist (good guy, for you slow ones) is not the main character nor will the main character ever surpass him/her? I find this to be a rare phenomenon in anime.
The only examples I can think of are:
Hibari or adult Reborn of Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Kenpachi of Bleach (correct me if I'm wrong, you die-hard Bleach fans)
Sengoku Iori of Gamaran
Kurapika or Gin of Hunter x Hunter (I don't see Gon ever surpassing either of them)
White Beard of One Piece (correct me if I'm wrong, you die-hard One Piece fans)

I thought Hashirama would be that character for the Naruto series, but Naruto surpassed his a$$. SO6P excluded.

Kenpachi is far from the strongest in Bleach right now. Many surpass him, but he is terrifyingly strong by Bleach standards. I find it interesting as well.

Really? Many GOOD GUYS are stronger than him? I won't argue with you, but I'm just surprised.

Totally. I don't like the main being the strongest, wish he stayed weaker than hashi/madara and so6p, but nah, Naruto will become so OP, that his son/daughter will never become have as good as him, feel ashamed, and them kill him/herself.

As for One Piece, idk. Maybe.

you gotta admit its pretty true. Naruto's kid will never be able to live up to his father's name... He/she will probably consider themselves a failure. Tho, I'm expecting Naruto and sasuke to lose their sage-given powers after the fight.

Nah, i'm with you, i don't really like the main being the strongest especially when there are others out there who are older and have more experience, an MC who just comes out of nowhere and is suddenly at the top is BS to me

Naruto's child will obviously be a jolly and joyous person like him. He/she would never consider suicide, but only to train to his/her best ability in hopes to surpass Naruto. Yeah, them losing their Sage powers would be nice. However, the day may come when those same powers will be needed again. Realistically, the peace Naruto and Sasuke will create won't last forever. More foes will appear. That's just more over-thinking it though.

I love reborn and all because he's a badass and awesome character but Tsuna is obviously going to surpass him. It was made obvious in the last fight with Bermuda.

I think Ichigo is stroger than Kenpachi by hype. We'll see his feats when he reaches Soul Society.

White Beard isn't the strongest, Gol D. Roger is the strongest by hype and I think Luffy will surpass him as that really is the goal of this manga.

Kurapika is nowhere near the strongest in HxH. I think Gon is already stronger than him, and that's not counting his adult form. Also, there are dozens of people stronger than him; He just has an ability that gives him a great advantage against the Troupe.
