Limbo creates a complete clone or ones self. The chakra is not divided as far as we can tell. The clone can't be seen or sensed by the average non Rikudou shinobi.

Limbo is > everything apart from senjutsu attacks (apologies if that's not the correct term).

With Limbo you can pretty much "dodge" any attack.

THat's why Sasuke's attacks have pretty much next to no damage to Madara. Only Naruto's Senjutsu (?) thing he got from SOT6P can cause harm to Madara. Even then, he needs to time it perfectly. And after Madara gets his rinnegan, all hope is lost.

Unlike shadow clone jutsu, the limbo is absolutely invisible, undetectable and untouchable to anyone except those with rikudo chakara or eyes. This makes it unbeatable for most shinobi.
