Naruto needed Kurama because he himself couldn't catch up to Sasuke. I guess that means Naruto + Kurama's help > part 1 Sauce before V.O.T.E fight.

And all through shippuden Sasuke has been above.
In the beginning Hebi Sauce could suppress Kurama and raped Naruto.

MS Sauce beats SM Naruto and Naruto himself admitted that would have needed Kurama to beat Sasuke. He could still suppress Kurama then.
Do yeah, even know i'm pretty sure EMS Sauce>BM and BSM Narco.
Sharinnegan Sauce has better feats, and is more awesome.

did you even watch the part one..sure sasuke started out the faster learner and more skillful but that was thanks to his bloodline..at the chuunin exams we all know that if neji faced sasuke , neji would have won..sasuke vs one tail gaara , sasuke was crying about the fact he so weak and couldnt keep up and who came to his rescue?!..NaRUTO and i don't remember seeing naruto use the nine tails power for that..so depressed sasuke challenged naruto to a dual on the rooftops..with both there just run -through a reservoir..sasuke was marvelling at the fact that his tech -on impact- hd more damaging than naruto's but on seeing the back of narruto's he realized the full extent of naruto's power and thats when he spiralled..

sasuke was fighting with all he had, his goal was to kill naruto whereas naruto's was to bring him home

sasuke struck naruto with his chidori and still couldn't kill him..
if naruto had fought sasuke the way he fought haku..sasuke would'nt be alive right nw

same thing applies to
hashirama and madara
jiraiya and orochimaru

Actually they were never really equal, just on the same level; one was always either slightly to a lot stronger than the other at different points of time. At first Sasuke was stronger than Naruto but during the Chunin exam Naruto got stronger than Sasuke and was still stronger even after Sasuke got the power boost from taking Oro's CM pill (Naruto didn't want to kill and didn't use Gama so he was handicap). You can't count Kurama until Naruto actually shown to use that power, like in the Chunin exam he went Initial fox cloak mode when fighting Oro so I counted that.

In shippuden, Sasuke was clearly stronger than Naruto in base but 4 tails is what puts Naruto over Sasuke (hebi) and since Naruto himself was about to surpress Kurama, saying Sasuke did it isn't a big deal since we don't know if he can if Naruto actually wanted to use the power; we see Naruto just use Kurama's power without talking to him after all.

Naruto got his Base stats up that Kakashi said Naruto surpassed him (after beating Kakuza while they were in the Ramen shop and this was a Naruto with his FRS at about 50%). Then he got SM which put him more over Sasuke again but this was a Sasuke who didn't have Susanoo at first and went blind after. Susanoo Sasuke would beat Pein arc Naruto (SM) only because he can't fuse with MA and Pa toad at that time but 6 tails/7 tails/8 tails would put Naruto over Sasuke.

For KM Naruto, I place him over EMS Sasuke only up to Final Susanoo but put Complete/legged Susanoo over KM then BM over EMS Sasuke in term of power.
