Yamato was weak and had no potential? W-w-what?

I created this thread to try to convince at least some of you that Yamato shouldn't be underrated as much as he's been for quite a long time now.

Sasuke's Chidori alone cut through his watered-down Mokuton like a knife to butter.

I see no reason in comparing Yamato to high-kage level shinobi, as Hashirama or Kabuto.
