Sure, Kenny finally revealed his Shikai, but I still don't think he's really even trying against the Sternritter V. I mean the guy hasn't even taken off his eye patch yet!

And there's also the possibility of Kenpachi having Bankai! I don't want to say for sure one way or the other because I'm really not sure if I should expect him to have Bankai or not. But still, he is restricting his Reiatsu and overall seems to be treating Gremmy like a kid rather than a serious enemy. Now don't get me wrong, despite the way this chapter ended, I don't think Gremmy is done yet either considering he has not shown his Vollstandig, but I think we should be expecting a lot more cool stuff to come from the Kenpachi from Zaraki.

Even though he hasn't gone into his Vollstandig form yet? I don't think he's out for the count. His character has a lot of potential (obviously.) And I think he'll come back and push Kenny pretty hard but not hard enough to use Bankai (if he has it.) If he does, I think that'll be saved for a tougher opponent; perhaps a rematch with Bach or something.

Exactly. Although on a more serious note, this is a testament to Gremmy's power. That he was so powerful that only plot could kill him or many, many drawn out chapters.

I think if he had a better mastery of his powers and a more laid back personality, he really could have been the most powerful Sternritter. He certainly has the unique power to do so and has shown us that the Sternritter are not categorized alphabetically by power contrary to popular belief.

I think if he wasn't being a complete retard, he would've killed Kenpachi. He could've definitely killed Zaraki in that fight, he threw a Dangai Ichigo, if he wasn't wasting his time screwing around then he could've definitely killed him.

Well I mean he kinda already did that a few chapters ago but then he reassured himself and kinda made a vow to not imagine himself losing. I still don't think that'll help him against Kenpachi though.

@bolded - completely agree! I think I said something like this in previous comments. It really is a shame that Gremmy is such a hothead because he could easily have destroyed all of Soul Society by now. Like what if he just imagined that he was the Soul King? That'd be some s**t!
