Hunter x Hunter & HxH 2011

So I just wanted to ask what's the difference between these 2? I got no clue about this series, but I want to start watching it.

They have the same story only the art style, music, animation and voice actors differ. I recommend you to watch both, but if you're about to watch only one, then you should choose HxH 2011.

The first version(1999) finishes right after the Greed Island Arc. The newer version (2011) starts from the beginning and continues past the Greed Island Arc and is still ongoing so I suggest you watch the newer version and the animation is off the charts. HxH is an amazing anime full of great characters, morals, fights, powers and deaths. The 2011 anime is the greatest IMO.
