Maybe eating the fruit allowed him to do so.

VIz's translate doesn't refute anything lol. Kamui is dimensional transfer, whether you teleport parts of your body or your whole body, it's still transferring. Same jutsu, did ya'll forget?

Madara > Obito, pure and simple. One is a true rikudou while the other was a boot leg copy. Madara obviously has more control over jin powers than obito, the appearances alone tell you that much. It's not a retcon, madara is just superior in every aspect of the word.

Thank you, sir. Harry Balzac is correct. Kamui is the same for both Kakashi and Obito, they obviously have just learnt the MS techniques differently Kakashi's primary use of it is for the dimensional transportation of objects, whereas Obito tends to just teleport himself.

It could be that Madara is just stronger and therefore able to use it, however, I believe it's a little more complicated than that. I think that it could have something to do with the tree... But that is a big maybe. On the other hand, the reasoning behind why Obito was unable to use Kamui could come back to the fact that the Juubi was huge. Obito might not have had the eye prowess to perform such a task, whereas Madara's power and visual prowess is arguably infinite. Conversely, the Juubi might just not be able to go to the other dimension for whatever reason. It's all subjective at this point until Kishi explains it (which he may not even do, but hopefully he will).

Got to call BS on this one. Wasn't it revealed in the fight with Obito that Kakachi's strategy worked because their eyes are linked? That is Obito's eye's dimension. It was confirmed again when they used the eyes again, Obito's original eyes, not something from the juubi, to transport Naruto and suckuraw.

Even if Madara can somehow now kamui, by the way where the f$%& did that left eye suddenly come from, why would he be able to get to that particular time space?

Too many holes in this for me. Seems like another pull-it-out-of-your-a$$-because-I-want-to-start-golden-week-partying-early-no-jutsu.

this is what i think happened...obito had his eyes when he became the juubi jin and since his body hadn't got used to the juubi in him so couldn't jump with it nd i think it wasnt the fact that he couldn't jump but that he couln't phase thru with the juubi
whereas madara didn't have it when he became the juubi jin and he has adjusted to his new form and since he became the jin with a left eye he can pretty much use kamui...besides once you become the juubi jin, you can no longer use your old techs ...i mean have you seen madara use susano'o..NO!!..but only the rinnegan techs can be used
