I think i know how Sasuke's rinnengan works

So Sasuke Shifted place with his sword, it looks like he can change places with objects but he has a certain range in which he can do that as Madara states here

Yeah that makes sense but wouldn't Sasuke trade places with the black ball hurling towards obito or would that be too far? idek cause that's a different dimension and i also don't know how that would work

He can't do that because first of all Madara is in the Kamui dimension and i don't think he can switch with those black balls because those are made from using the juubi chakra

Seems pretty sensible. I was thinking that Sasuke was developing his own variation of Limbo which is why he was able to see both Madara's. I'll wait on ***********'s translations to get a better idea of how it works.

Izanami variant. He can bind it at will now. Doesn't have to create the loop. Variant meaning in this instance meaning he can alter anything he comes in contact with our has had contact with.

Permanent FTG Radius is a much better theory. Sasuke can use a form of ftg and that includes swapping places with his left eye.
