It's like kishi doesn't want naruto to be with sakura though. Sakura is like confused. One moment kishi makes it seem like sakura loves naruto but then makes it seem like she still loves sasuke. It's confusing. At least with hinata naruto has more closure. I think eventually naruto will realize how important hinata is and he'll realize he likes her. It either happens that way or it happens with sakura realizing her feelings to naruto.

There are things that I agree with (pertaining to your comment) but Naruto & Sakura already share a strong connection that has developed over the period of this manga. I don't expect for that same connection to be duplicated with Hinata in such a smaller time frame.

U do realize that if Kishi shows Naruto returning Hinata's affection then that ends the pairing war right? Kishi won't let that happen. We will see who wins in the end.

The only problem is whatever connection they may share tbh Sakura hasn't expressed any desire to be with Naruto where as Hinata's entire character revolves around Naruto, the girl even sacrificed herself for him. Her goal is to be the one holding Naruto's hand walking by his side. That has already had partial fulfillment and with Sakura the way she is I doubt she will interfere
