Madara's is ok I guess but he ****ed it up by not actually caring about the end goal.
Nagato's is ok. Similar to Naruto's and Obito's goals but all because 3 people died. By that logic everyone in the world should be a villain right now.

but to everyone else he was a villain he had the best reasons but in all honesty i can't see anyone as a bad guy so to speak even those other atatsuki members were part of a group being used for a just cause

Nagato definitely had best reasonw to become villain. His life was literally ****ed up from the beginning. Grew up in a war torn country, saw his parents getting killed, saw his best friend getting killed, betrayed by hanzo whom he trusted.

Orochimaru is not trying to become a villain, he is just doing his research. His actions might be villainous but his motives are not

Obito just lost only 1 chick whom he loved, his reason to become villain is nothing compared to Nagato's

Madara had good reasons but he turned into a clown. Pity
