Could Madara use Limbo on Guy?

The title says it all, and how can someone like Madara almost got killed by 8th Guy? Indeed, Guy is fast and his attacks are OP, however why didn't Madara just used his techs to counter Guy? It doesn't make any sense if Madara wanted to test 8th Gate powers, imo...

Any thoughts?

However, Limbo doesn't work against someone with extremely speed like Guy. Guy moved so fast that Madara couldn't react to him and got punched by Evening Elephant 5 times.

Thing is, we don't really know exactly what is Limbo. Sure, it's a "copy" of Madara on another dimension, but what can it do? what cannot? So far I didn't see that copy using Ninjutsu, just standing there and using physical attacks. I guess we will have to wait for a proper translation and explanation of what Limbo is, but if it's only a clone on another dimension that uses physical attacks, it would be kinda useless against someone like Gai if you cannot keep up with him.

It's too soon to judge what Limbo really is and what it can do. However I'm assuming that it's just another copy of Madara in a different plane and the skills are identical, Madara's limbo is no greater than him in general not just in terms of speed. If the irl Madara can't keep up with Gai, neither can his Limbo. Just a theory though, we'll just have to wait and see.

No, Madara's only used Limbo on stationary targets. I highly doubt it would have hit 8G Gai.

speed is only useful if you know there's something to actually dodge. Guy wouldn't have the slightest idea of that... Plus limbo has been shown to be very quick; moving faster than current nardo when he was already capable of blitzing madara, so guy isn't that much faster outside of night guy.

Nope, If an invisible Madara was standing in his way when 8th Guy was ready to attack, then his attack would go right through the shadow one and hit the real Madara, since Guy's attack is OP that makes his moves so strong enough to break almost anything.

we've seen several times that you smack into limbo man if you hit him. latest spoiler he blocked naruto's attack with his hand.

In any case, you're talkin gabout something else. I said he'd stand in front of Guy and guy would hit into him whil erunning into circles. You're talking about him standing infront of night elephant.

Madara's limbo wouldn't be fast enough to keep up with 8th Gate Gai's speed, he would have to get a direct hit to do anything to him, but he would be moving so fast that it would be a serious challenge.
