Best online/pc game to play?

I've played WoW but having to pay that much a month is just crazy so I quit playing like 6 years ago. I've also tried Runescape of course and LoL which I didn't really like. What are some other good games to play?

Skyrim is great. I can't get into using the keyboard and I could use my Xbox 360 controller for Skyrim PC.
