Well, this has been official ever since Sasuke had EMS, but now for sure, Sasuke has surpassed Itachi BY FAR.
I know most, if not ALL Itachi fans will naturally, and automatically disagree. But honestly here...

Yea, in part 1, was definitely top 5. But as shipuuden came, and the war started, seems Itachi dosent even make top 10, if he does its usually his fans putting him at 7 or higher.

I like him, he was wise, combat experience was superb. But I think he reached his maximum potential when he fought Sasuke. I mean, at 13 he was already leagues above his peers, but I think after the uchiha incident, and achieving Susanoo, thats where his growth ends. He could have possibly become more skilled at sharingan usage, but other than that no.

Sasuke however is pretty smart himself. When he had MS, he was still below itachi. But it seems he has gotten wiser over the course of the war as well. And seemingly isnt that emo brat that he used to be. On top of that, he has EMS which is greater than MS..and now, the moment all Sasuke fans have awaited, he has awaken the full power of Rinnigan. Yes, full power, his eye has the sharingan and Rinnigan pattern. Most people will say, "its only in one eye." Okay..well its only suppose to be in one eye. Kaguya had it in one eye, and so did the Juubi (who is kaguya)
He can perform all the rinnigan AND all of his sharingan techs.

Nothing in Itachi arsenal now can effect Sasuke. And Sasuke seemingly has calmed down ALOT, so he dosent rush in battle, instead, he seems to be observing before making his decions.

I say now, recent Sasuke solo itachi low diff. He has finally surpassed his brother.
Heck Sasuke has surpassed Nagato as well.

well said... I agree. Also Sasuke took a jutsu that even Itachi was a little b*tch about using(Amaterasu) and turned it into his second greatest move(First being Chidori)

Sorry. Izanami only works for particular targets, Sasuke already knows how it works, and will avoid it, not only that, but Sasuke apparently has accepted himself so Izanmi has no effect. gg Itachi

We don't know if Sasuke can actually perform all the rinnegan AND all the sharingan techs. The natural inference we can do for now is that he can still perform his own techs, and that maybe these techs were upgraded.

But you're kind of stretching assumptions if you think that Sasuke can perform every tech existing in Rinnegan/Sharingan.

If you were so right, then Sasuke could use Kotoamatsukami and he would end the war in one chapter, that is anything but plotwise.

So, let's be more "realist" (inside the manga context) and say that he is just stronger than Itachi. Shall we?

It's not how well the eye works that makes an Uchiha great, but how well the Uchiha can use the eye. MS Itachi > EMS Sasuke, even if he is on his deathbed because of a terminal illness. The only reason Sasuke currently has this much power (speculated, really, we haven't seen his new eye in battle) is because of plot and because he's Indra's reincarnation.

SMH...I said he was able to use all of the Rinnigan techs. and all of HIS sharingan ones, come on, if you plan on trying to counter me, make sure you know what you are countering 1st.

He has the same exact eye Kaguya had...why wouldnt he be able to use the all of the existing ones? Logic says he can.

Itachi would still wipe the floor with him - new dojutsu or not. Itachi's intelligence > Sasuke's.

Besides, you can't count the Rinnegan techniques as Sasuke's... because I've never seen him use them. And if his skill with Tsukuyomi is anything to go by, he'll likely fall below the bar compared with Madara and Nagato.
