Srsly though, i build computers all the time. thousands of dollars worth. i could tell you if this would work or if the nvidia gtx 660ti could run it at whatever fps you want, but u wank to sausage so nope.

Yeah, on low settings.

As for your second question, a 660 Ti would be wasted on an old 4170, it would just be bottlenecked.

AMD + Nvidia set-ups are just not that good, because the former just can't make the most out of the latter.

The Frames!!!! THEY DON'T EXIST!!!!! Highest performance I'd say is around 29FPs. No more...unless BF4 has ultra low settings...when in doubt, google it. With the Nvidia card, you'll see about 2 more fps...unless you beef up the rest of your system, It won't be too much more effective.

Actually BF4 can run on a 5600k APU on medium with playable fps. And actually his cpu is fine for games that use 4 cores. He should be good up to around an ati 7790ghz. He'd actually see about a 20% improvement. He should be just fine as long as he sticks with 720p.
