1. D.Gray-man
2. Pandora Hearts
3. Katekyo Hitman Reborn
4. Bleach
5. Gintama
6. Gosick
7. Fate/Zero
8. K-project
9. Steins;Gate
10. Guilty Crown

What I love about some anime:
- Naruto: characters, quotes, fictional places, "super powers"... everything
- Death Note: the "dark" atmosphere, the thrilling plot, unique characters (very intelligent anime)
- Black Butler: Victorian era, mysterious atmosphere, beautiful art

I've also seen Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan (and Pokemon ofc xd). I'm also into fantasy, lolita... I've dropped Sword Art Online. I wanted to watch One Piece, but this series is far too long.

I wonder whether the listed anime are worth watching. Or does anyone have any recs besides these?

Bleach is a good choice. Don't have any others I would recommend.

Bleach has very good fights and the story is also cool.

You can pass on D.Gray Man and Pandora Hearts. Hitman Reborn is alright but is largely filler (it's a comedy show) before going into a huge sudden arc where everything becomes serious. It's just a silly world though so the early comedy episodes were a lot better than the fight arcs. It's very goofy. Gintama similarly is actually a comedy anime.

From your description you'd probably love Project K, I only watched the first two episodes but it's definitely the sort of thing you're looking for.

Watch Mirai Nikki. dont watch bleach, its terribly cliche and drawn out and filler crazy. a whole year worth of filler is in it...and thats just 1 arc of filler. mirai nikki is very interesting. lots of fights, blood, gore, yandere love, which is about this crazy ass chick that will kill anyone that interferes with her and the main character. lots of action. one of my favorites.

You should definitely try Baccano. Maybe try Sengoku Basara as well. Bleach is good. Hamatora is a good superpowered anime. Nobunagun. Noragami. Getbackers.

Haven't seen any of them, so I'm afraid I couldn't say. As for criteria you listed, here's a few recommendations based off that:

- Steins;Gate (characters, quotes, amazing plot)
- Cowboy Bebop (awesome characters and quotes)
- Mushishi (best artwork ever, fictional world, great standalone plots, some good quotes)
- Black Lagoon (very dark, great characters)
- Baccano! (awesome cast, powers, Pulp Fiction-esque plot)
- Ergo Proxy (dark, fictional place, characters, complex plot)
- Hellsing Ultimate (doesn't get much darker than this, characters, super powers, plot)
- Wolf's Rain (a little dark, complex plot, fictional world, great characters)

K Project - no. I'm watching it, and it's just ok. Good animation, terribly boring plot. I'm 3 episodes from finishing it so I'm just getting through it to complete it.
D. Gray Man - only 5 episodes in. Pretty good so far. And I heard it gets better. But it's pretty lengthy though

I'd recommend (in order of priority):
1. Code Geass
2. Hunter x Hunter
3. Deadman Wonderland
4. Blast of Tempest

Watch Wolf's Rain. It has a beautiful, compelling storyline and is one of the most saddest anime series out there in the world. I absolutely recommend it. You will not be disappointed. Other anime I recommend are Claymore, Black Lagoon, and Elfen Lied. Hellsing Ultimate is also a good anime series as well.

What about Fate/Zero?
This looks quite interesting to me. Has anybody tried it?
