If her Byakugou is so good, she should've outlasted Madara's clones. She didn't.

What you said i cant even call a speculation because its more than just a coincidence for each part of her body to be conveniently at the top and bottom of the branch. Your going off guesses while im making a plausible speculation while using manga scans.

Well whatever, she was cut in half by something powerful not some regular sword so it takes some powerful to cut her in half, that was my point.

He only hit her once with Kusunagi tho...

Again thats just a guess and no evidence or speculation behind it.

for the cutting part, i stand corrected but your forgettign he needed Tsunade alive for her co-operation so he couldnt kill her

If it's any use to this argument, Madara states that he used PS again off screen.

Most logical conclusion as to how she got bisected in my opinion

Also TailedSage, Only the first stab from Orochimaru was without killing intent for Tsunade, though it had killing intent for Naruto. He then declared he was trying to kill her with the second slash. And tried to kill Naruto with the third. All of the strikes from Oro had killing intent.

The thickness of the blade would have also crushed her instead of slicing her. The girth of the sword is too big. If Katsuya was able to put the body back together and Tsuannde couldn't regen at the time it means it was a slice small enough for no extra bits of her body to be cut off. If it were ps blade she would of been crushed.

First scan "If you are going to throw away your life for a worthless brat then die like the worthless trash you are protecting" Obviously by then Oro was done trying to persuade and was now trying to her kill.

And then when he left he said "if your not going to co-operate i will find another way" If he is able to pierce her then if he wanted to he was more than capable of killing her.

Only things he had in his arsenal were Mokuton and Susanoo Sword. He was using the Perfect Susanoo. So do you find it more rational that he use Mokuton than the PS sword?

It would seem more rational if the blase was more smaller. Like i said the girth of his blade alone would crush and not cut her. The branch is conveniently between both parts of her body.

Wait what you referring to? Before the initial cut or after?

If that's so, why did she successfully, stop his blade that was trying to kill Naruto? (3rd injury)

The susanoo swords look round but are able to slice, so it really depends on sharpness of whatever is cutting than on the size itself.
Large piece of obsidian> smaller steel blade.

Basically if he was slicing her like that because he could, he could of easily kill her but a slow death is what orochimaru always prefers. and since he had the clear advantage at the time, he had nothign to prevent him from doing so untill he got the punch from Tsunade, realizing that his body couldnt take anymore damage he said "that" and left.

Madara used PS on naruto? or are you referring to the clone susano'o blades.

And my point exactly, im not saying it cant slice because it clearly can but the size of it and the size of her is too big a contrast for it to slice and not crush her.

Well then, Tsunade is invincible and should be the strongest since her so called "Byakugo" heals her from everything
After all, No one can defeat her since Byakugo just heals her from everything, don't see why she even lost to Madara and was saved by Jman against Oro and Kabuto. After all, she's invincible cuz of Byakugo............................

The girth of the tip of the branch will ALWAYS be thinner than the middle Even in part 1 I could go on. The tip of the technique is sharp and gradually get bigger the more you go down from the tip to the base. They are more than capable of piercing someone, especially the technique that was used on the kages. A tree doesnt just grow big it starts from a sprout first which in this case would be the tip since its the smallest part of the tree. Branches have sharp tips its common sense.

Alright, you definitely have a point here. Lol.

Not invincible, Gai just isn't one of the ones capable of killing her.

Madara>>>>>>>>>>Gai, and Byakugo wasn't even used in Part 1, so I don't see your point with that one.

Yeah Madara is stronger than Gai but if Byakugo heals her from everything, why then is Madara capable of killing her?

Wow way to be a sore debater. Madara cuts her in half and if he wanted to he could finish her off before Katsuyu fixed her. Gai's attack didnt cut Kisame and that body so that is why Tsunade heals from everything Gai throws at her.

I think he is referring to the Oro thing.

Ohhhh well in that case...

If this is the scan your referring to Taz she used her body to stop the blade, if she could have blocked it normally i think she would have done that or at the very least parry him
