That makes zero sense.

What defines "grazing" apart from "touching"? Grazing IS touching. If anything, that's an issue of mistranslation, because it makes absolutely no sense.

Kishi is going to say....that the orbs lost their juice because Minatos teleportation was so fast that as they made contact.... Minato was already at the destination in which they lost their juice. I'll bet anything that will be his answer..... If he allows Minato to "live". Imho the orbs hit Minato in a distance of less than 70 meters so he should be destroyed.... But after Gai surviving I dont think anyone but RikudouMadara will die.

Yes , this orbs are touching him but befor they hits him .....he used FTG ( and FTG is instantly , no time is needed) that means he is in the same position like at the picture , but +70 meters away and the Gudōdama Balls has not the Power to dissolve Ninjutsu .
And as Edo he will heal , and the Arms he will get back with Naruto's Help . =D

No i dont think Madara is going to die , this is a Shonen ^^ Talk-no-Jutsu and Madara will use Rinne Tensei and cuz he is the DON MADARA everybody will come back even Jiraya and the 4 Hokage ^^believe me something like that will come

Yes...you are probably correct.... If Gai survives I doubt anyone will die nao tbh. I feel not letting Gai die was one of the worst routes to go from Kishi....I'm starting to become very weary of his ability to write, and I'm weary of the idea that it may not be Kishi currently writing the Manga. Idk.... I cannot be sure.... I'll just have to sit and observe how this story comes to an end.

The balck orbs are the same Onmyoton/Gudōdama its the same , but +70 away Madara lose the controll and the power to disable ninjutsus to ^ ^

The Black Orbs are not onmyoudon itself . Onmyoudon is something Madara and Obito add to them . Since Madara cannot controll them at more than 70m distance I don't see how Madara will add onmyoudon on them . Even if they hit Minato he will regenerate cuz the orbs wont have onmyoudon .

At over 70 meters they lose their onmyuden effects and madara losses his control over them.
