I understand where you're coming from like the fight between team 7 and the demon of the hidden mist zabuza. Yeah those fights were astonishing and well thought out.

But you must understand naruto as a series is transforming into a more action like anime which is pretty cool in itself. As the characters develop so does the show. i'm not exactly 100% sure why you said tactics and strategies aren't important anymore.
If i recall it took a lot of tactics and strategies to defeat six paths obito. And they also needed a strategy to distract rikudou madara so obito can reach naruto in the other dimension.

That required strategy for obito, kakashi, minato ect...naruto got a big upgrade. besides when your enemy is rikudou madara a lot of jutsu won't effect him and if naruto and sasuke didn't upgrade they would have been goners for sure. So ordinary tactics don't work on enemies like madara. That's why naruto and sasuke are so OP

But hopefully we'll see some hand signs sooner or later.

when you first learned that naruto had a fox demon sealed inside him which was said to destroy mountains with its tails alone, how powerful did you think the characters would be by the end?

naruto has never been a typical ninja manga and look at dragon ball the series you just compared naruto to, dragon ball went from a martial arts manga to action sci-fi and don't act like part 1 never had its grand battles like gaara vs naruto and the sannin battle to sasuke and naruto they was all beyond what you would think of as a ninja manga
