The true potential of Orochimaru?

I realized that we never saw a fight of Orochimaru in which he had to struggle.
While he was fighting sarutobi he used the edo tensei, but do we really saw his full power?
Orochimaru lost the fight because he was suprised by the death reaper seal.

Any ideas?

Orochimaru Will go out soon. We never saw him at full in a good powerscaling.

We haven't seen his full power yet. He was either screwing around, getting merked, or in the process of body rejection. Also, he couldn't use most of his Jutsu for most of his screen time.

We've NEVER saw his true potential, neither have we with Hiruzen. Those are the only ones i'm looking forward to seeing. It was stated Orochimaru could take out countries by himself, so...

What have we ever seen from him? edo tensei, shadow clone jutsu, great wind breakthrough and...? He spent the entire series without ninjutsu; Just a bunch of snake based attacks/defences.

All his fancy stuff and 10000 jutsus are of non relevance tho when up against people who negate or absorb al ninjutsu

We never saw a lot about him. Mainly because Edo Tensei was his down fall. Imagine if he didn't lose the ability to use ninjutsu? He would probably have done what Kabuto had, but just attack every village with an army of Edo Tensei and Sound Fodder.

Except Hiruzen was considered God of Shinobi o>o

OT: He went quite soft on Hiruzen. He summoned the Senju bros to torture him mentally and let them do most of the work while he just stood there and watched everything happen.
And IIRC Hiruzen was the one who died, not Oro, therefore Oro won ._.

At this point its find it most likely that we'll never see Orochimaru's kinjutsus the same way we never saw Kakashi's 1000 copied jutsus. His fighting style revolves around ET, summons, the "power of the white snake" and i have no doubts he can use senjutsu now, that's enough for me.
He was never about big fights anyway.
