Restrictions: None, those are for noobz.

Swords aren't considered prep in forums mate. FTG is though.

Minato prepares FTG kunai and carries them with himself. Sasuke had to forge/buy/receive his sword and carry it with himself. It's not considered prep. But when it comes to ET - Oro's strongest jutsu - ppl somehow think that he doesn't have his Edo already prepared.

using a technique/jutsu before the start of the fight is preparation, just like jiraya or naruto starting in sage mode is preparation, using weapons that you carry around after the fight has started is not preparation of course, spreading ftg tags all over the globe before a fight starts is prep, but spreading them after the fight has started is not
