This will be a quick note. I will go straight to the points to prove that Naruto has a bloodline that stand on its own, and make him stronger in everything he does. Simply put, if you give a Sharingan to Naruto, he will surpass all the people who used the same Sharingan before him, and this is the same for every Jutsus in the narutoverse. Now I can show that Ashura did not have any Biju in him.
A bit of history if you want to read
As you read above - I assume you really want to read and comment the thread - Kishi did not introduce Naruto has someone who did not have power on his own. However, very few people notice these, and very few people actually learn about Naruto. This was due to some choices where most people hate naruto's nice behavior, or the so called Jesus-attitude.
Then, Kishi end up showing these - after SM was already achieved --
Back then, I argue that though Kyuubi gave chakra to Naruto, the manifestation of the chakra was not due to Kyuubi. I argue that Kyuubi's chakra activated Naruto's own power. I was mainly using the following argument:
(1) To me Naruto included Hashirama's role
(2) Naruto is Uzumaki with huge life force. Go back to the first spoiler to see the history.
(3) The marking on him are more closer to his jump suit, his seal, his facial six line, and thus suggest he is the one who contains them.
Normally, the third point should be obvious since chakra has no color or artistic skill to draw on someone. Naruto is the one providing the vessel, and it make sense that his vessel contains the marking. It is counter intuitive to think that a fox we have seens red was actually golden with markings.
I also coined that the emotions sensing, SM sensing were naruto's own base abilities that he was not using because they require that he build a certain threshold of chakra. Besides, he needed to know he had these abilities - which was impossible since he had no guidance. had he had parent, they would have brought these sensing earlier or make him blitz just as Minato himself could do.
Fortunately, I got helped from Hagoromo, and recently:
Ashura was shown, and it was discovered that naruto was him. His avatar was just looking like Kurama but with different forms and shape. Basically, you can see there is no life in it, but he is manipulating it just as Indra can manipulate his Susanoo. Also check the eyes of his avatar and compare it with Susanoo's eyes. They are the same. Moreover, his Avatar has three face, and I doubt there is a biju with three faces. This was my evidence that Naruto's KM/BM/BSM were due to his own power. Yet, some people said Ashura was Jinchuriki - a bashing of Naruto in my opinion.
Finally, I got the evidence of naruto's own power:
Above, you can see Ashura's chakra. It is exactly the same as naruto's KM and I bet it is golden. This show that actually, naruto's own chakra is yellow.
However, it seems that the anime company did not want to make things too obvious so they choose blue color for naruto's chakra. Otherwise, Naruto would have been connected to Ashura long time ago.
So we have the evidence that the Yellow color is actually Naruto's own color, and not Kyuubi. Next, here is the evidence that Ashura did not have a biju.

These markings make a difference between Rikudo, Juubito, juubiDara, and Naruto. It shows that in addition to having chakra from all the juubi, Naruto still have something that the others - his predecessors juubirukis - did not have. This something is Ashura's power, which is the power Naruto was born with. I think that that power manifests itself also like a Biju.
Simply put:
Naruto's appearance in BM, KM, and BSM along with the special power in them are his own due to his Ashura and Uzumaki connections. Kyuubi had a lot of power, but he is as good as a Biju just like the others.

He also asserted immediately that Naruto inherited the Uzumaki bloodline by giving him the symbol, which is the spiral. Curiously, the spiral is also named Rasengan, and it is Minato who created it and passed it down to Naruto, just like transmitting his power or bloodline.
Moreover, Kishi gave a kind of where he is taking Naruto to very early in a symbolism that only the true naruto fanboys like myself can notice. Yeah, believe it!
