[Question] Avatar rules

Despite having a new account, I've actually visited narutobase for quite some time (around august 2013) and I am fairly caught up on most of the rules.

However, I'm curious, have the rules about avatars been changed? I saw today a member who's profile picture had animated nudity in it (not trying to bash a member, but just for the sake of an example, reference Uchiha Usman's previous avatar), and I've seen people who posted similar images get banned before.

Are the rules different? Or has animated nudity always been allowed? Not that I would want to make an avatar like that (as you can see I've opted to not have ANY avatar), but I like to be up to snuff on all of the rules.

Such images are still not allowed on the forum, just report members in violation of the rules.

"Images: Signatures, Avatars, Profile Pictures, Pictures posted in threads as well as Youtube videos are subject to the same rules as posts, so, if something is not acceptable to post, then it is not acceptable for a signature. In this case, a moderator will ask you to change or delete your inappropriate image; please do so immediately. Failure to do so will result in your signature being deleted. A repeat offense usually results in an account ban! Please remember that the signatures' size limits are 600 x 300. Premium member limits are: 600 x 450
Adult Material: Anything that contains explicit adult material or illegal activities is strictly prohibited; remember this is a family forum and not a place for such actions. His isn't really nudity as we can't see nipples. But I wouldn't do it.

Nope its not accepted but if you managed to somehow sneak up and hide from the eyes of mods, you'll be safe but yeah that shouldn't be accepted

areolas are part of the nipple man haha. Its all good though, I am not looking to report and they changed the pic, I just wondered if the rules changed. they were VERY lucky they changed before getting caught though

Thank you that's what I THOUGHT the rules were. the offending party has since changed their picture, we're good

Although I once saw someone post a picture of hinata from that bathouse scene where she's literally almost naked and got banned even though it was techinically a panel from the manga. I mean it IS narutobase, so anything acceptable in naruto should be acceptable in the forum

you read the thread right? i wasn't advocating inappropriate material, i was questioning its legality

Was it your main account for your IP does return interesting names? Anyway that wasn't the original manga panel you/he used but an edited one where someone added the areola to that image. The original image doesn't have it.

And it was not just the image which earned him a ban - it might have been just deleted but rest of the content in the post + it being in the wrong section ( and re-posting it once deleted, if i remember correctly, though it was too long ago so whatever)and previous infraction active infraction points led to the ban.

Now that' it's explained I'm closing the thread.
